Welcome to Away Games. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of the Away Games website and your purchase, booking, or participation in any Away Games trip, event, clinic, activity, or other experience.

By using this website, making a reservation, or participating in an Away Games experience, you agree to these Terms.

1. ABOUT AWAY GAMES
Away Games creates curated pickleball travel experiences combining competitive play, coaching, group activities, and travel experiences in selected destinations.

Away Games offers two primary trip formats:

TOUR experiences are built around selected professional pickleball events, including PPA and APP events.

ESCAPE experiences are destination-focused pickleball getaways combining organized play and coaching with leisure time and local experiences.

Specific inclusions, schedules, accommodations, activities, and pricing vary by trip and will be described on the applicable trip page or booking materials.

2. ELIGIBILITY & PLAYER LEVEL
Unless otherwise stated, Away Games experiences are designed for players at a 3.5 skill level or above.
Players may be grouped or matched according to skill level to provide competitive and enjoyable play. Away Games reserves the right to organize groups, courts, partners, opponents, clinics, and activities based on player level, group size, availability, and coaching considerations.

Guests must be at least 18 years old unless a specific Away Games experience expressly permits younger participants.

3. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT
A reservation is not confirmed until the required deposit or payment has been received and confirmation has been issued by Away Games.

Trip prices, deposits, payment schedules, and final payment deadlines will be provided during booking.
Failure to make a required payment by the applicable deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation and forfeiture of amounts previously paid, subject to the cancellation terms applicable to your booking.
Prices are listed per person unless otherwise stated.

4. WHAT'S INCLUDED
Each Away Games experience is different. Your trip page or booking confirmation will identify the specific services and activities included in your package.

Depending on the experience, inclusions may include:

• Accommodations

• Reserved pickleball court time

• Organized and skill-matched play

• Clinics and coaching

• Guest sessions with local pickleball professionals

• Welcome events

• Selected group meals

• Group activities or experiences

• Tournament or professional event access

• Away Games merchandise or welcome items
   

Unless specifically stated otherwise, airfare, transportation to and from the destination, alcoholic beverages, optional activities, personal expenses, travel insurance, and other services not expressly listed as included are the responsibility of the guest.

5. TOUR EVENTS
Certain TOUR experiences may be organized around professional pickleball tournaments or other third-party events.

Away Games does not own, operate, or control the PPA Tour, APP Tour, or other third-party tournament operators.

Tournament schedules, players, matches, venues, ticket availability, amateur registration, and other event details may change independently of Away Games.

A change to a third-party event does not necessarily result in the cancellation of the associated Away Games experience.

6. ITINERARY CHANGES
Sample itineraries are provided to give guests an understanding of the anticipated experience and are subject to change.

Away Games may modify schedules, courts, coaches, activities, restaurants, accommodations, transportation arrangements, tournament attendance, or other components when reasonably necessary due to weather, availability, safety, operational requirements, third-party changes, or circumstances outside our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide a comparable experience when changes are necessary.

7. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Cancellation and refund policies may vary by trip and will be disclosed before booking.

Certain deposits, payments, accommodations, tickets, activities, or other expenses may become non-refundable after specified dates due to commitments made to hotels, venues, tournament operators, coaches, and other suppliers.

Guests are responsible for reviewing the cancellation policy applicable to their specific trip before completing a reservation.

Away Games strongly recommends purchasing appropriate travel insurance.

8. CANCELLATION BY AWAY GAMES
Away Games reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a trip when reasonably necessary, including if minimum participation requirements are not met or circumstances make operating the experience impractical or unsafe.

If Away Games cancels an experience, guests will receive information regarding the options available for amounts paid directly to Away Games.

Away Games is not responsible for independently booked airfare, transportation, accommodations, or other expenses unless expressly stated otherwise.

9. TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITIES
Guests are responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to and from the destination unless specifically included in the trip package.

Guests are also responsible for obtaining any required identification, passports, visas, travel authorizations, insurance, or other documentation required for their travel.

Guests should not purchase non-refundable transportation until the applicable Away Games trip has been confirmed.

10. PHYSICAL ACTIVITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Pickleball, clinics, recreational activities, excursions, and travel involve inherent risks of injury.

By participating, guests acknowledge that they are voluntarily participating in physical and recreational activities and accept the ordinary risks associated with those activities.

Guests are responsible for determining whether they are physically capable of participating and for communicating relevant limitations when appropriate.

Additional participation waivers or releases may be required before certain activities.

11. COACHING & LOCAL PROFESSIONALS
Away Games may provide a dedicated coach who travels with the group and may invite local coaches, professionals, instructors, or players to participate in selected sessions.

Specific guest professionals, coaches, instructors, and programming are subject to availability and may change.

The appearance or participation of a particular local professional is not guaranteed unless expressly stated as part of the booking.

12. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
Away Games works with independent hotels, resorts, pickleball facilities, restaurants, transportation companies, tournament operators, activity providers, coaches, and other third parties.

These providers are independent businesses and may maintain their own terms, policies, waivers, and requirements.

Away Games is not responsible for acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, or service failures of independent third-party providers except to the extent required by applicable law.

13. GUEST CONDUCT
Away Games is designed to create a welcoming, competitive, and enjoyable group environment.
Guests are expected to treat other travelers, coaches, staff, venue employees, and local partners respectfully.

Away Games reserves the right to remove a participant from an activity or trip for conduct that is unsafe, disruptive, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, illegal, or substantially interferes with the experience of other guests.

Guests removed for misconduct may not be entitled to a refund.

14. PHOTOS & CONTENT
Away Games trips may be photographed or recorded for marketing, social media, website, and promotional purposes.

Where legally required, appropriate consent or releases will be obtained. Guests who have questions or concerns about appearing in promotional content should contact Away Games before the trip.

15. PERSONAL PROPERTY
Guests are responsible for their own luggage, paddles, equipment, electronics, and other personal belongings.

Away Games is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where responsibility cannot legally be excluded.

16. WEBSITE CONTENT
We make reasonable efforts to keep information on the Away Games website accurate and current. However, trip details, pricing, availability, destinations, schedules, photographs, and other information may change.

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and does not create a guarantee regarding a particular experience unless expressly incorporated into your confirmed booking.

17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Away Games name, logos, branding, website content, graphics, photographs, designs, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Away Games and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without permission.

18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Away Games will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or participation in an Away Games experience.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

19. FORCE MAJEURE
Away Games will not be responsible for delays, changes, cancellations, or inability to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government actions, transportation disruptions, public health emergencies, labor disruptions, venue closures, tournament cancellations, or similar events.

20. PRIVACY
Information submitted through the Away Games website or booking process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

21. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
Away Games may update these Terms from time to time. The version applicable to a particular booking will be the version in effect when the reservation is made unless otherwise required by law.
